I’ve got a story to tell (extra, extra!),
May I have your attention, please.
Boy, have I got a story to tell (read all about it!).
You’ll be glad you listened to me.
Have you heard that God sent His own Son,
To die on Calvary?
Boy, have I got a story to tell (hear ye, hear ye!).
You’ll be glad you listened to me.
Amazing Grace, my soul’s redemption,
When Jesus died upon that tree.
He took our place, with no exceptions,
And paid the price for you and me.
There is no other name by which we can,
Be saved eternally.
Amazing Grace, this is my story,
God’s wondrous Grace for you and for me!
I’ve got a story to tell (extra, extra!),
Information I cannot withhold
Boy, have I got a story to tell (read all about it!),
When I’m done you’ll be glad you were told.
Did you know that Jesus paid the way,
To that land where we’ll never grow old?
Boy, have I got a story to tell (hear ye, hear ye!),
And when I’m done you’ll be glad you were told.
Chorus
This is a fun song that God gave me last Friday. I had to wait until we wrapped up the Texas Gospel Music Festival in Fort Worth before I could begin work on it. Finished in about 5 hours time, it was a quick demo to record. I pray it's catchy melody and Gospel message are a blessing to you!

Now you may think you life’s been good,
You helped out anyone you could,
Even those so close to giving up.
Or maybe you’re in church each week,
So careful how you act and speak,
You hope that being faithful is enough.
But there’s a cross that stands before us,
On which Christ was crucified,
As He bled each drop of blood,
You and I were on His mind.
Salvation’s song doesn’t sing of works we’re doing,
Salvation’s song sings of what the Lord has done.
It’s not the battles you have lost,
It's in the victory of the Cross,
Call out to Jesus, Cry out to Jesus,
Is Salvation’s song.
You say you hope you’re saved from hell,
You’re thinking ‘only time will tell’,
Trying not to dwell on all your fears.
You’re praying that this dread will pass,
And that this day is not your last,
You smile to try to hide from all your tears.
You will find your peace in Jesus,
But only if you will receive,
The gift of True Salvation,
You will finally be set free.
Years ago, I had prayed that God would bless me with a simple song that clearly communicates the Plan of Salvation. He answered in a way that only God can, with a song that sings like an invitational hymn with regard to its delivery, and that conveys the all-important idea that Salvation is not by anything we do, but is solely based on what Jesus did for us on Calvary. Simply put, if Salvation had a song, this is what it would be. I did some research and discovered that exactly 3 years ago, God gave me this song. I find it amazing that he laid it on my heart to record and upload exactly 3 years later. He is amazing! I pray it is a blessing!

This simple and solemn arrangement features grand piano, cellos, violas, and violins.

I look back and remember my grandmother’s smile,
When I’d drop by to visit and talk for a while.
She was always with grandpa, they were happy, you see,
When I’d knock on the door, they’d start waving at me.
When grandma was nearing the end of her days,
I tried so hard to tell her in so many ways,
As I struggled and stammered, with tears in my eyes,
God gave me the words for what I felt inside...
“It’s the beautiful way that you whisper my name,
As you talk with the Savior at the start of each day.
In spite of my faults, and the failures I’ve known,
You’re proud to tell Jesus that I am your own.
It’s the look of your Bible, well-worn and applied,
By a life lived for decades by Jesus’ side”.
For the closest to Heaven one can hope for down here,
Is to be in the presence--- of a grandparent’s prayer.
As a child I remember how grandpa would pray,
The tone of his voice and the words that he’d say,
Whether blessing our food or praying in church,
I could tell that my grandpa knew what prayers were worth.
After Jesus took grandma a few years ago,
Things just weren’t the same as our grandpa had known,
And when his time for Heaven had finally arrived,
I whispered these words as I stood by his side...
Chorus x 2
Anyone who grew up with Christian grandparents will be able to relate with this song. Though this is not a word-for-word biographical account of my own experiences as a grandchild, it does draw from the Christ-like love and godliness I have always seen in the lives of my grandparents. There is, indeed, something special about a grandparent's prayer, as, after many years of walking with Jesus, they have an intimate relationship with our Savior and know how to bend the ear of God in ways that every Christian should strive to achieve.

This arrangement features piano, acoustic guitar, bass guitar, cajons, and four-part harmony on parts of the chorus.

I was walking down the street, Just the other day,
I passed by a blind man, As I traveled on my way.
He said, “excuse me, Would you please help me out?
And tell me the meaning, Of what Jesus is all about.
I said “King of Kings and Lord of Lords,
The Beginning and the End,
With a love so unconditional,
Oh, where can I begin?”
The sweetest smile came to his face, As he nodded his head,
He slowly turned away from, And that is when he said,
“Son, you will never know, How much it means to me,
Just to know that I can see that, too, Even though I cannot see.”
He said, “King of Kings and Lord of Lords,
I’ve known it from the start,
Even though I cannot see Him,
He lives inside my heart.”

He said, “King of Kings and Lord of Lords,
I’ve known it from the start,
Even though I cannot see Him,
He lives inside my heart.”
The tears were rolling down his face, As he looked up into the sky,
He threw off his glasses and raised up his cane, Everyone was wondering why.
He said, “thank God it was Amazing Grace, That saved a wretch like me,
For I once was lost, but now I'm found, Twas blind, but now I can see,
Now I can see-- ,
Praise God I can see-- .
This song is very, very special to me. This is because it is the first Gospel song that I ever wrote. In 1998 at the age of 19, I had already felt God tugging at my heart and had been inspired and touched by the Southern Gospel songs and hymns my family would sing together as a quartet. God gave me the idea of a blind man asking about Jesus, and the rest is history. I threw together a five-track accompaniment on my 61 key Casio keyboard, drove out to my parents place in the country, and sang the song for them. They were greatly blessed by it, which I have never forgotten to this day. I pray that, nearly 20 years later, it will be a blessing to you, as well.

This arrangement is faithful to the original, and features piano, acoustic guitars, bass guitar, strings, cajons, drums, and choir.

God’s not through with you, Something more to do,
You’re not forgotten, though you may feel all alone.
Every tear He sees, Hears your every plea,
As you wonder why He has not called you home.

For there’s a purpose that is higher, And a plan you cannot see,
Which is why His Hand will guide you, To be all you need to be.
God’s not through with you, Christian,
Until He calls you Home.
Until then there’s a blessed work to do.
You have known Christ’s redemption,
And the Power through His Blood,
Look around at all the lost who need Him, too.
So until you see your Savior face-to- face,
Keep on telling of the Lord’s Amazing Grace,
God’s not through with you-- -.
No, God’s not through with you.
You may fear and doubt, Feel your life’s without,
A purpose that will make it all worthwhile.
Jesus has a plan, Let Him take your hand,
As He guides you day by day and mile by mile.
There’s a calling that is greater, A blessed place to be,
As a servant of the Father, Leading souls to Calvary.
CHORUS

God’s not through with you, Christian,
Until He calls you Home.
Until then there’s a blessed work to do.

When my wife and I were singing in the nursing homes over a 2 year period, I prayed and asked God to bless me with a song that would serve as the theme for the ministry. This song was the answer to that prayer, and I am grateful for the message within it. If you're still here, God's got something for you to do! Amen?

This arrangement features full orchestral accompaniment - which took a WHILE on a Mac! ;-)

Crimson is the color of the Cross,
The Holy Sacrifice for sinners made,
The spotless Lamb of God who paid it all,
Love was Crimson, at the Cross.
Crimson is the flood that saves the soul,
The tone that breaks the captive sinner free,
Such Grace secures my heart and makes me whole,
Love was Crimson, at the Cross.
For sinners face a price we cannot pay,
But, Praise the Lamb of God, He made the way,
One precious drop of Blood secures our souls each day,
Love was Crimson, at the Cross.
Crimson is the color of our King,
Of the crown of thorns he wore for you and me,
For this cause we always of the Blood shall sing,
For Love is Crimson, at the Cross.
For sinners face a price we cannot pay,
But, Praise the Lamb of God, He made the way,
One precious drop of Blood secures our souls each day,
Love was Crimson, at the Cross.
Crimson is the gift prepared for you,
For the One who saved my soul can save yours, too,
Receiving it is all that you must do,
For Love is Crimson... at the Cross.
While listening to preaching on Saturday night, God blessed me with this song. It is a simple tune about the Blood of Jesus Christ. While it has a powerful message, it is mellow in its delivery. By the Grace of God, this song was completed in a combined total of 10 hours. I thank my Lord and Savior for the variety of songs He is blessing me with.

This arrangement features grand piano, shaker, light percussion, choir, strings, and accordion.

Grace will always be my banner,
Faith will always be my shield.
God has has always been there for us,
And we know He always will.
I don’t know where life will take me next,
But I know Who’s coming with me,
And He’ll handle all the rest.
It’s just another Hallelujah Day! (Hallelujah, Glory!)
For our Mighty God is on the throne,
And He always makes a way.
Though the storm cloud rise, I will lift my eyes,
And I’ll clap my hands and say,
“It’s just another Hallelujah Day!”
Darker grow the days around us,
Brighter grows our Light within.
Saints, we have a loving Savior,
Let’s go tell the world of Him.
I can’t see what tomorrow brings my way,
But Jesus holds tomorrow,
And that’s why I always say.
CHORUS x 2
God blessed me with a song that speaks of His continued Grace and Mercy, in spite of whatever the day may bring. It is a blast to sing, has a true Southern Gospel feel, and has 'quartet' written all over it.

This arrangement features acoustic guitar, ukulele, bass, drums, and mostly 3-part harmony (with a little bass in the chorus).

Life lived well on God’s green earth, possessions seem to tell one’s worth,
But happiness just flees without a trace.
Success, with failure close behind, The loss of things I thought were mine,
With nothing left but tears upon my face.
But when all is said and done, I'll still have God’s only Son...
I’ll take His Word, I’ll take His Will.
I’ll take the Blood of Jesus Christ, for there’s Power in It, still.
I’ll take His hand, I’ll make my stand.
Of all the earthly treasures I could grasp,
There is only one thing I would ask,
I’ll take Jesus.
A broken body, frail with pain, a mind the never feels the same,
As my life comes quickly to a close.
Though I draw these final breaths, I smile upon the thought of death,
And the thought of Jesus, Whom I chose.
Now, that Gloryland I see, If I could take one thing with me…
I’d take His Word, I’d take His Will.
I’d take the Blood of Jesus Christ, for there’s Power in It, still.
I’d take His hand, I’ve made my stand.
Of all the earthly treasures I could grasp,
There is only one thing I would ask,
I’ll take Jesus.
I prayed that God would bless me with a song that represents a Christian looking back over their life and, through it all, recognizing that there is only one thing that truly matters - Jesus Christ. What God blessed me with in this song has me both humbled and speechless. God is good - that's all I can say.

This arrangement features a grand piano and orchestral strings. *** Sheet music coming soon!
The day is done, The night is young,
And as you gently drift away.
I’ll say a prayer, my love to share,
And ask the Lord, near you to stay.
It is an honor to sing you,
This angel lullaby.
To remind you of God’s gentle hand.
And as you grow along the way,
I’ll sing of Jesus every day,
And pray His love, you, one day soon, will understand.
As dreams draw near, my voice you hear,
As your warm thoughts give in to rest.
I’ll strive to be, the one you see,
When you awake, and be my best.
It is an honor to sing you,
This angel lullaby.
As I pray God’s protection for you.
And as you learn new things each day,
Draw near to Christ and stay,
For with Him, there is nothing you can’t do.
For with Jesus, there’s nothing you can’t do.
God blessed me with this song this afternoon and it has a powerful meaning to me. I picture Christian parents leaning over their sleeping babies and praying for God's hand upon their lives, not knowing what lies ahead. I wanted to put this sentiment into song, and the Lord delivered in a way that I cannot explain. As such, I felt led to share this song tonight, before the sheet music is finished. I pray it is as much of a blessing to you as it is to me.

This arrangement features ukulele, cello, violins, and pizzicato bass.

This is a simple, yet fun song God blessed me with more than 3 years ago. It tells of our personal responsibility to fulfill the Great Commission (Matthew 28:19-20) by telling others about Jesus Christ and what He did for us. It's great as a solo or quartet song.

This arrangement is in typical Southern Gospel fashion, with piano, acoustic guitar, drums, strings, and even a little ukulele.
The Lord blessed me with this song last Saturday, and it was heavily influenced by the pain of those touched by the recent events and disasters across the globe. It contains a simple promise that Jesus knows who you are, where you are, and what you are going through. The sweetest part of this truth is that His yoke is easy, and His burden is light (Matthew 11:30).

As this is a simple, yet solemn song, only a piano can be heard accompanying vocals in this arrangement.
This is one of those songs that was a beast to write, but is a blast to sing. I've always loved good, old-fashioned four-part harmony in a Southern Gospel quartet. Combined with the Gospel message, it is hard to beat. I pray this entry is a blessing to you!
This arrangement features a double bass, acoustic guitar, drums, and strings. My wife, Rita, joins me for the melody on the chorus, which is a real treat! :-)
This is an arrangement of a song the Lord blessed me with about 3 years ago, entitled "Father of Mercy". I've always felt that it has a hymn-type feel to it, meant to be sung in manner that is both reverent and gracious to our Holy God.

The arrangement heard here is a simple combination of grand piano, violins, and choir.
